Capture One is the PhaseOne software to handle their raw images. I have been using it for 3+ years now and it is fantastic...and with some images far superior to Photoshop in "Correcting" tonal range, highlight/ shadow density, curves and color correction. It has saved more than a few images shot on location where lighting was tough..(especially filling in the shadows with light and thus lowering the overall contrast range to fit the digital exposure latitude).
Speaking of which, does anyone have an idea what software might be available to achieve similar results with Nikon's raw nef files?
