Thanks for the response, however I think either you have got confused or
I am not understanding the power of this software so I will do it
again<G>

Scanner/s and controlling Mac/s in clean room.....some thirty five feet
away in the editing room will be the scanner monitor together with
keyboard, mouse and Wacom.

Why so remote?  Good question, I want scanners in the cleanest possible
place (clean air ventilation etc) get rid of the noise and avoid loss of
bench space too, but have no wish to spend hours doing pre-sans in this
environment where there are no windows to rest ones eyes.......was the
photographic lab you see.

I think the solution that avoids loss of monitor image quality is going
to be expensive having had so far a long discussion with the Belkin
people. Thanks Tony Riley for that suggestion and another to also be
followed up.
