Dear Andy

I make that about 42 mb from a 135mm original or 170 mb from a 7x6.

For what its worth I have been very happy with the 4800dpi from my Minolta
Dimage Multi Pro scanner. I cannot remember the spec for the Imacon but the
Minolta does up to 6X9 and comes with the anti Newton Ring glass carrier. Of
course it does not do the trick curvy drum scan type thing but for the
money I do not think it can be beat. I have high regard for the Imacon
products but could not justify the expense on what is, for me, a stop gap
until the right digital camera comes along.

Regards

Jonathan
