Me too Richard. Since I've been using my Mac G4 more & more, as my production of digital files grows, I seem to have become less skilful with the Mac system rather than more skilful. Today and yesterday various things stopped working because vital files went missing, which I think is connected with my re-loading certain software, though why that should interfere with other software I don't know. And I just find many aspects of the Mac cumbersome & clumsy - on the PC, Windows Explorer is highly useful for instance, nothing as handy in mac OS 9.1 it seems - and the file-naming thing you mention is a sore point, all that irksome re-typing...
I'm wondering if, when I get my new laptop (decided on a Toshiba, much more spec for the money than an iBook or PowerBook) I might just revert to PC entirely - anyone got PS7 for PC they want to swap for Mac equivalent..?
Regards, Tony H
