for a looong time before proceeding to do what I told it to do - usually shifting to another application. Has this got to do with aging hardware? My G4 400mhz 1GB RAM machine is getting a bit old, but still? I have installed Norton Systemworks and turned off NAV as suggested by a friend of mine who said that NAV was a real nuisance on PC's when working in PS. So I thought the same might be the case with Mac's, but I am not sure yet, having just turned it off. Any suggestions would be most appreciated as I had hoped to drag along with my old G4 for a bit longer. >> Dear Morten I have been told to never even open the Norton's box in the same room as OSX. They don't like each other. I'm now buying Disk Warrior as reccomended by Jorge and my local Mac guy. Although I have had problems with OSX they have all been down to problems with printer drivers and nothing to do with the OS. If the application gives problems always use "Force Quit" to save crashing the OS. Did you install PS under OSX after removing it from OS 9?
