Jack, I'm using 1290's, two of them. Swapping between the two, I have to exchange physical connections, go to Print Centre and then add and delete printers, it's madness really. You would really of thought that Apple should have addressed these things (and others) by now! And your absolutely right about the slowness, though it seems most of us are keeping quite about these things. I've been loyal to Mac for 10 years and I'm on OSX in a big way but I think maybe now it's time for a little honesty.
