Hi y'all.
Loved to enter this debate but we're gonna be too late for judgement day.
Just got our new and shiny 22 million pixel back. Unfortunately , what
with the beta ( Alpha ? ) software and all that, plus existing pressure
of work , it's gonna be some time before we've bedded it in and start
using it in anger .
Gotta say though , that even using it on a non digital lens , albeit a
superb macro ,initial tests show that the quality is absolutely stonking
even in single shot mode on a Mamiya 645.
Can't wait to get it on to the P3 with a dedicated lens !
BTW , the digital lenses I referred to earlier were not large format
lenses , but lenses manufactured for CCD chip size , with movement. We
use Sinaron digital lenses , and are about to purchase Sinaron HR lenses
that apparently increase resolution sufficiently for 16 shot capture.
Will report on the results as we get them.
