I recently started to use raw format while shooting in my d1x. From the recent discussions, it seems that compressed raw is slower than uncompressed. How about the quality of compressed vs. uncompressed raw?
I'm also having trouble getting good results with Bibble's batch processing. If I use batch processing to convert raw files to JPEGs, the images don't come out right, in terms of exposure or color. Of course, manually converting each image produces beautiful results. An interesting fact is that from the raw files, Bibble can make JPEGs of the 10Mpixel images at a much smaller size (2MB) than if I had shoot the file originally in JPEG mode (3MB files for a 5MP image).
