Hi Ron,

Picture Package does this! It is probably not documented and I tend to keep this explanation for my seminars.

Coming after Marc Pawliger, Martin Evening and Others chimed in regarding 'Batch Numbering' and the magic use of the hash symbol( for which, believe me I am truly grateful, having wasted heavens knows how much time previously,) do I smell a rodent?

These shortcuts - and I guess that I am not the only one to find them of great use- didn't just 'happen', they were carefully coded- and to glibly state that they are undocumented certainly fails to convince me.
Could it be that there are certain combinations vouchsafed to alpha, beta, or even omega testers that will make power presentations 'worth the money' for attendees?

Now, I'm sure that Rod's tip is drawn from personal usage and skill - but as for inserting hash characters...if it's undocumented- WHY?- and think of all the users who are not on this list.

Conspiracy theories abound - but I think that it's reasonable to expect that people that buy a programme should be made aware of ALL its possibilities, and that they should not be retained, and dispensed as gems to a grateful proletariat ...

Now we all know that Photoshop is an outstanding programme, and has become as essential as D76 used to be- and it doesn't muck up your skin- just your eyes- but I do resent wasting unnecessary hours only to find out that Photoshop would have done the job for me...

Sorry to be a grouch... but has anyone got any more - undocumented features

eh Marc?
