All this talk of missing and undocumented features in Photoshop leads my
mind back to some of the recent discussions about the new Adobe RAW
converter plug-in and a post I made on Rob Galbraith.

I have been using Photoshop since 2.5 and one of the biggest irritations to
me over the years has been the inability to set working source and
destination folders (except in automate). Like my desk in real life, it
would be so useful to have a chooseable 'In tray' and an 'Out tray'
(folder). This need / wish / source of irritation has been compounded by the
ARC plug-in. Phase One's Capture One software and the other RAW conversion
apps all use this structure and it is so logical and so much faster than the
Photoshop way of opening in folder X, saving in folder Y and then in the
open dialogue, having to navigate back to folder X again ( which in my case
is frequently on another directory). Is there another way or is this just a
missing feature? If the latter, perhaps Martin or Jeff may have a way of
adding it to the wish list? I have mailed adobe feature request several
times in the past with this, but never received a reply.
