Dear all,
Sorry if this is off topic, but it's very much relevant to my use of images
at the moment.
I'm trying to produce a short film in iMovies, which I've done several times
before.
I was coming to the final stages and adding cd tracks to accompany
everything. Suddenly, on introducing a cd onto the computer, iMovies crashed
giving out a type 2 error warning. I've checked the memory given to the
application and there is more than enough. There are 10gb left on the hard
drive and I bumped up the minimum running memory to double its needs.

Bizarrely it seems to have affected the control strip, which automatically
goes to "hide" even though I keep checking the "show" box.
I've rebuilt the desk top and shut down several times, but it still keeps
crashing. It seems to be fine before I put the cd in the cd drive.
I've no deep knowledge of computers so am at limit of my knowledge.
Any suggestions?
I'm using a G4 with OS9.1
