Hi Paul,

Capture One One the Mac is currently buggy, but this was also true of the PC
version and Phase one fixed it in less than two weeks.

It is an expensive piece of software, but with a Canon, the quality is
superior to all the other software available. Many people are making
comparisons on price and overlooking what this app has been designed for ie
rapid image adjustment and unattended batch processing of large numbers of
images.
C1 is heavily workflow orientated. For converting the odd file it is
probably slower than other apps, but if you have to process 200 images to
the best quality, for same day turnaround, this is the software for you. The
fact that images can be adjusted in real time and batch processed ( with
different setting for each file! ) whilst you get on with another job means
that the software pays for itself in a very short time. additionally it does
not demand much of a the PC / Mac which means that I can use my old Pentium
III machine ( Mac G4 350Mhz equivalent) to churn through files AND still
keep working in other apps - try doing that with Photoshop in batch mode!

As the oft quoted saying goes: You pays peanuts, you get monkeys: It is
without question worth the extra money over Adobe RC or MacBibble.
