Yes it will work. BUT? Will it work at USB2 speed? That was the original
question. From a brief scan of Adaptec's site, it would appear that they
don't have their own driver for OS9? (and yet you say it is on the CD?) They
indicate that one has to download the driver from the Apple web site (USB
Adaptor Card Support) This is currently version 1.4.1 and will make the card
work, but at USB1 speeds.

Did you receive a different Driver/Extension set? If so which? Is yours
running at USB2 speed? Be great if it does.
