Ron, Many of Photoshops functions are able to use both processors. It really does speed things up. I have to say I prefer to only use one programme at a time so have separate machines for scanning ,emailing etc. Perhaps when computers and their operating syatems become more competant I will have just 2 machines, one in use and a standbye system but judging by the rapidiy of both hardware and software changes, fixes and upgrades on Macs and PCs I suspect that wont be for some years.
