or just double click that step in the action (while a file is open) and 
just that one step will be re-recorded with the new settings.  I too 
use actions like this all the time to create client disks that may have 
a variety of versions of each image; each version in a separate folder.

I can open a sample file and change the folder into which the files 
are saved by highlighting the Save As part of the Action and selecting 
Record Again from the  drop-down menu. It allows you to replace the
