"to get the Nikon LS-4000 to work with Mac OS 9.x, remove all the extensions that begin with the word "Nikon"".
This is annoying, as up to now I have been using both Vuescan and NikonScan, depending on what I am scanning. If I want to do that with the LS4000 I will have to enable/disable the Nikon extensions and reboot each time I want to switch.
I've just upgraded from a Nikon Super Coolscan 2000 to a Coolscan 4000. Vuescan, which works fine with the 2000, doesn't "see" the 4000. NikonScan works fine, so it's not a connectivity problem. Have I missed something simple?
I'm running in MacOS9.1. Any help much appreciated.
