Ian, forgive me contradicting you, but having tested numerous files with a
range of interpolation options, I find that Fred's Si pro action is not as
good at A1 as using standard Pshop Bicubic interpolation. 

To size images up one should never sharpen first; it adds extra erroneous
information to the file which will compromise the final output. Personally I
never trust repro houses, but the guys who make posters etc have a different
set of parameters and are usually capable of miracles in sizing files up.

Mark, I think the 1Ds file will be fine. Am I correct in thinking that 96
sheets are frequently made from A3 files? I believe I saw it in Martin's
book.
