> Is the 10D an improvement?

Well, having done some research, the 10D certainly looks like the "bargain"
that one of the reviewers described it as.

One comparison I would like to read is one with the Fuji S2. But, the price
differential alone, never mind Canon's reputation, makes the 10D hard to
beat, it seems.

So, next question............

I would need three lenses - the full frame 35mm equivalents of 28mm, 50mm
and 85mm.

Since the camera would be almost permanently on a tripod, lens speed is not
an issue.

Therefore, what are the *best* lenses I could buy for the 10D, taking only
optical performance into consideration?

Is there a zoom of equal quality, that would cover all three focal lenghts?

Many thanks.

Denis
