There's also a review of the new 17-40mm f4L from canon you should check 
out. Performance is equivalent to the 16-38, price is half. If you can 
live with out f2.8, this lens (and the price) is awesome.

I can't find a review of the 17-40mm. Would you have a direct link please?

Also, nothing on Canon's site about it either, that I can see. Canon's UK
site, that is.
