[PRODIG] Odd lines on 1290

Folks, I'm getting thin cyan lines on prints from my Epson 1290. 
They're falling OUTSIDE the print area (I'm printing a small picture 
in the middle of an A4) which I guess is significant, ie, they're 
printing where there is no image, just blank paper.

Any ideas?
