Hi all,
I'm trying to print out Post Card size output in Photoshop using OSX and an
Epson 1290. Just downloaded the latest Epson Driver for OSX.

The paper I'm using is A5 (yes, I've measured it)

The file I'm printing is A5

But in the printed version the image is always 'off centre' (by 12mm) This
may not seem much, but at A5 output it looks bad. I've tried selecting
'Centre Image' in Print Preview, which it doesn't. 'Scale to fit media' just
shrinks the image file, but doesn't rectify the problem. In the past I've
always re-jigged files so that they print out to look right. This is the
'trial and error' method...

But I'm wondering if there is an accurate 'right first time' method.

How do I print out so that the file in Photoshop really is centred on the
output (and not just says it is in the Epson Driver). Am I right in assuming
that the Epson Driver is severely flawed in this simple task ?

As an aside, where is the custom paper settings so I can 'fool' the Epson
driver into doing what it should do ?

Many thanks for any help,
>From David
