I would hope not - not an appropriate use of this procedure. For one thing it is used with two computers, not just one computer and a hard drive. FWIW to all who may be confused about using the Target Disk Mode. Assuming computer A is up and running, connecting computer B to computer A via a FW cable and then holding down the letter T key while pressing the power button on computer B results in computer B's HD(s) appearing as external HD(s) on computer A. Computer B does not actually boot at all. When done transferring data or accessing files on B, drag the icons of B's HD(s) to the trash, then press power button on B to shut it down and disconnect FW. =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
