Paul, I have been curious as to why no one has ever mentioned GC in this list, since it is a tiny app, eats just a few chunks of RAM and it's quite useful to tasks like embedding a color profile without having to open all the files, same for rotations and other routine stuff. Quite handy indeed. And BTW, the Color Sycn awareness of the app, combined with it's own features, make it by far the best option to print what I consider the best Contact Sheets I have ever made,and beleiveme when I say I have tested a good number of apps for this,including Fotostation,iView, PS, Extensis Portfolio, ACDsee,Photomechanic, etc. They look so great that I have decided to keep some "series" of shootings in contact sheet form obtained from GC. Simply , The best possible usage of the printable paper area, you can also use different customised sizes in the same page( you can have only 2-4 images or some 30 thumbnails,a big image and 6 small ones, your choice) , and you can print both horizontal and vertical files , again, with maximum usage of the printable area I have seen. The only drawback I have found with the Contact Sheet feature is that GC does not let you save the pages. It is a print-only thing, but then again, I don't want to keep them as an extra folder around my machine. I just redo the page instantly, which gives me the option to add or remove one file if some editing/updating is required (something barely possible in other apps) and re-print . I have not explored the latest update version yet( it appeared a few days ago) but understand from the readme file that it can process RAW files straight from camera. I have not tested the the web gallery thing either, but most likely it must be as useful as the contact sheet thing. All the best.
