Hi Guys
I'm using a Dimage 5400 with the Dimage Scan software that ships with it and I'm having some problems, was wondering if anyone had experienced similar or had some tips to help me get round this.

Please excuse my tongue in cheek question, but what density range is this scanner advertised as having......perhaps you are just asking too much of it.
Can you readily see the denser detail on your lightbox or do you have to blast the light through it to see this detail you scanner is not able to record. Have you had this problem before with a similar tranny?
