Dear Francis

Your name begins to make sense to me now you've put in context.

1974.

Keith Johnson.

Great Marlborough Street.

Saturday mornings --just like a camera club. Go in for a coffee: Chat about
kit - with people behind the counter who understood what was in the boxes
and opened them up for you to actually handle the contents: Generally talk
to other like minded photographers: Waste time until 12.00 & all go to the
pub.

Those were the days.

Now all we're left with is the equivalent of shed operations, invariably
staffed by ex. B&Q shelf stackers, unable to discuss the finer points of the
piece of kit you're burning to buy.

Perhaps we should be petitioning Keith to bring him out of his vinyard and
back into the retail photographic business. (Hopefully with the ridiculous
amount of extended credit he used to operate as well).

As you said.. 'the end of an era'

Glad to see you're still in the business.
