Hi Listees Just checked with our listmum that it was cool to post this, I'm looking for a decent print shop in London to print some Powerpoint presentations out for me in full colour, small run of circa 80 sheets max I guess.
Basically, I'm presenting a proposal on laptop/data projector - I'd like to leave a nice takeout from the presentation and it always looks so much better in colour but I'm horrified nay mortified at the cost of it and just wonder if my scrooge gene is coming to the fore here. They're quoting 12 setup cost (we're not talking anything as exotic as colour profiles etc) and 85p per page if I go over 100 copies or its 1.10 a page. I haven't finished writing my proposal but I guess it will be 15 - 20 pages in total. I need 3 copies as well. Its going to cost 2.50 to wirobind each on top of that and before you know it - I'm looking at almost 100! Are these absurd prices or am I just not in touch with reality? I could understand it in a colour managed environment on specific substrate but we're talking about plain colour on standard 90gsm paper! Does anyone have any suggestions as to a better way of doing this or the name/tel of a reasonably priced supplier? I think it might be better to respond off list and if anyone is interested in details, they can mail me at alex.black [at] onetel.net and I'd be happy to forward on the information. Much gratitude and good night Alex =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
