I have the eyeone display and have mixed feelings too. The display (Mitsubishi 17" CRT) has a problem with near highlight values (r245,g245,b245) which show up most in areas of cloud and sky. Being more careful with the brightness helps, but it's not perfect. I do find the eyeone display software a little hard to use - getting the red, green and blue sliders to keep still is frustrating - I feel another thread coming on!!
I did have spyder. It produced a totally useless profile. Colorvision said 'ho-hum'. The retailer swapped it for the eyeone without hesitation. >From what Neil B says, it seems a shame that basiccolour does not support eyeone display - yet? I am running XP pro with an ATI Radeon 9000 card with Mitsubishi 17" CRT. I got the monitor based on PC-pro's A list. Regards Paul > Thinking of getting a calibration device.
