If you ask me...royalty free is the cumuppance for years of sticking shots
in libraries...

I suppose on the up side , if they are royalty free they cant be nicked ,
We here are now seeing 'some' clients wanting exclusive/bespoke shots , because they are fed up with library stuff , as it 'nearly ' does the job some of the time (no disrespect to people who shoot for Library) , they want to brief a photographer and get a more 'exact' result ,
Incidentally , one reason or excuse that was often told to me by ad agencies and other clients for using library/ royalty free stuff was speed and convenience .
