If it wasn't for digital there would be no RF. There is no RF film. RF is probably the ultimate digital photography product.

I suspect that if in ten years time or less that when we look back to 2003, we will sigh and say that that was the era when professional photographers lost the plot. There is still time to pull back from the brink and to demonstrate that professional photographers are worth paying a decent fee to for their work.
Digital has for me been very empowering, and I know the same is felt by many others, but I hope all photographers who need reminding, never forget that it is just as empowering for clients. Many of whom could not tell or really care if the images they produce does them or their business credit.
We all need to show them they are mistaken and that it does not make any difference if the picture is shot digitally or not, it's the talent and commitment behind the camera and or computer that makes the difference, to say nothing of all the preparation, the selection of props and lighting that lifts a casual snap to a compelling image that does the job it should, whatever that might be.
