I can completely agree with Marc on this one. There is a smoother and a sharper variant of bicubic, and they do make quite a difference. And they are, in my opinion, superior to the old 10% increments upsize trick. I've supplied a couple of images they've used to fine-tune the new algorithms on and it really does make a difference, both for resizing up and down. Chris Cox has done a wonderful job on that one - my hat is off to Chris!
