I asked this question the other day. Apparently it is possible with jpegs but not with Tiffs.
This could be an issue, apart from the space overhead, with an advanced version of PDF files which will look up the original settings in the EXIF file and convert any corrections back to the RAW capture. This is apparently to sort out files which don't fit standard parameters. What I do in C1 for instance when converting would be ignored.

Hi there,
This is something I have often wondered. Just started using Capture one DSLR
and when you develop the raw file it seems to leave the EXif data associated
with the camera behind. Tested it in breeze browser in exif properties and
it does not appear to have any camera info only info about the file size
etc. and colour management.
