Dear Shangara. No problems with Hotshoe, LOTS of potential probs with Hot sync. Keep your shopping spirit high and get the PockeWizards( not the ultra beasts, the normal ones), Wein, or equivalent hotshoe remote triggers. DIrect sync to the PC socket may fry your chip and then your fine camera may end up decorating a wall or as a paperstep.
