I've only read the blurb on the Dpreview site but I read it to mean the
monitor can display Adobe RGB out of the box, as opposed to sRGB.

However, aren't the Sony screens, and the Mit screens, capable of displaying
a wider gamut than the one covered by Adobe RGB? If they weren't, then how
does one currently judge images in any of the wider color spaces, such as,
Lab, Ektaspace, Kodak ProPhotoRGB, etc?

Maybe I've just misread your post...
