Aloha , After much rigorous testing and an off the record comment from a leading manufacturer of LCD monitors , we've decided to hold fire on the flat screens for a while . As easy as they are on the eye , we still have reservations regarding sharpness ( too much ), dead pixels ( one is too many ) and tonal range.
We stand to be corrected , and would appreciate any arguments otherwise but in the meantime are looking to Sony Artisan monitors as replacements . Does anybody have experience of these , and possibly just as important , a reliable supplier at reasonable cost .
