advising potential purchases to await the outcome of the NY Expo sometime in November.
Although I've tried several times, I can find no reference to this event. Does anyone know the dates?
Dear Jason. I attended the Expo in NY and I was hoping to find some surprises about new cameras but in technical terms nothing absolutely new occurred.
I can basically mention that Nikon introduced the D2H but i is basically a photojournalistic camera aimed at competing agaist the -old- Canon 1D, since it is a 4 Megapixel camera with all due features for a good camera in it's style.
For commercial work, the Canon 1DS is still king and you would have to wait until next year to try to get something diferent or better.
