[PRODIG] RGB>CMYK conversion. Courses? Books?

At the moment I don't do any RGB>CMYK conversion, because I know it's a 
minefield.  Unfortunately one of my clients just batch converts in 
Photoshop without considering the settings.  The results are, as you 
might imagine, not good.

Other clients send my files out to be converted.  I'd like to know if 
there are any good books explaining how to do it, or perhaps short 
courses.
