It's called: Professional Photoshop: The Classic Guide to Color Correction I have just returned from San Diego where I have completed the first stage of Dan's Applied Color (sic) Theory course. At the end of the course he gave us all a copy of his current book, which is the version Richard mentions. It is the 4th edition of his book and he has no plans to update it in the near future. It is definitely available in the UK as I bought a copy from Amazon before I went to the USA to do the course (So I now have a spare unused copy if anyone would be interested in making me an offe)r. Dan's method of a by the numbers approach is absolutely fascinating and even if you have a completely profiled system, as I have thanks to Neil B's input, it is really useful to be able to 'read the numbers' to re-assure yourself that what you are doing is in 'real' colour. Not only that but the techniques he teaches to improve your pictures are very wide ranging and open up many new possibilities. I would heartily recommend that everyone who has the opportunity take at least his first course. He said he would love to come to the UK and do a course or two (and I am now very keen to do his advanced course) so if anyone is interested perhaps they can contact me off list and we can see if there are enough people to make it worth his while. Beware though, it is a tough course, 3 days c.7.30 am to 8.30pm with hardly any breaks, but boy do you get your money's worth.
