Er, Hello prodigers Having subscribed to this list a few days ago, I'm just introducing myself, as required in the rules.
I'm principally an editorial and corporate photographer, based in London, and have recently dipped my toe in the digital swamp with a D100. Although I still prefer to stick my head under a darkcloth or hand-crank a Hasselblad, I acknowledge I must get up to speed with new-fangled technology or become extinct. Given the deluge I have seen in my inbox so far, I plan to lurk for a good while and soak up the knowledge imparted by you digital veterans, before asking any dumb-ass questions that might show me up as a 'pissed old hack baffled by new technology'. I would be very interested to know of any experiences, good or bad, people have had using digital backs with a Fuji GX680. I have a MkII and might consider renting a back for future shoots when the need arises.
