Dear list, Want to get a portable dig cam.
Choices are canon g5 (smaller 5 mpixel)�550 Minolta a1 (image stabilization chip looks like good move)�700 Fuji s7000 (s2 chip produces 12 megapixel image like s2 so 30mb file, could be useful for image libraries like alamy)�560 Just thinking. G5 smallest and more portable but less adjustable A1 like slr but image stabilization chip allows greater dpeth of field without tripod, so capture images hit rate higher when just walking around (3 stops allegedly) S7000 well good for larger file size, but obvious portable disadvantage over a1 due to image stabilization) All produce 14 meg files so alamy would accept them, but the fuji has obvious advantage of producing 30mb files so alamy no problem.
