The problem I discovered was that althought you can use a converter, the apple display will still not be able to be completely controlled from the PC. ie: control of gamma/contrast etc would not be possible.
Apparently no one on the list uses PC's with TFT's in a colour managed workflow because I had no other suggestions to my mail. The only LCD option would be a LaCie Photon Blue. However as LaCie and customer support appear to be mututally exclusive categories (they ignored 3 email support requests from me) the PC owner who appears to be limited to CRT's. I am considering a TFT monitor for use with my PC. Apple Studio displays appear to be out because they do not accept vga input, but am I right in thinking I can use a Belkin vga to dvi adapter to get round this problem? -- ____________________________________________________ Message scanned for viruses and dangerous content by <http://www.newnet.co.uk/av/> and believed to be clean =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
