Possible solution.

The Formac Gallery looks like a cheaper alternative to the Apple studio
display, and looks very similar.
http://www.formac.co.uk/html/products/monitors/2010_1.htm However it appears
to have a properly designed PC version with DVI connectivity. Colour
management wise, it might be good as the company claims "color-accurate"
quality and conformance to Pantone's display standards.

I havent experience of this monitor but at about ?799 exc vat
(http://www.microanvika.co.uk/product.asp?TXT=INFO&PNO=FOR42155)  for the
20" I will probably get one when my current triniton finally stops
flickering and dies completely.

Seem to remember a previous question about this but don't recall seeing
any replies.
I am considering a TFT monitor for use with my PC. Apple Studio displays
appear to be out because they do not accept vga input, but am I right in
