Hello helpful people,

I am still having great problems with my 1290. It will not accept that it can print A3+ and will only allow me to print sizes from US letter to something called tabloid extra!?

Firstly some details, Mac G4 PB running OS10.2.8

In PS7 when I select the 1290 under "format for", it lists a "Stylus photo 1290" in the drop down list and below that, between the "paper size" drop down list and the "format for" drop down list it shows "Epson SP1290 (1,1)" . Also it does not change the available paper sizes to suit the 1290's capabilities. So my question is it twofold really, what does the (1,1) mean? and why oh why does it not alter the available paper sizes?

I have uninstalled everything I can find that even mentions epson, reinstalled the Australian drivers (ver 1.6bEDFGIPSs) and am now at a complete loss as to what to do. I do notice that in the users library folder under printers there is nothing listed, instead it seems to be under the Computer library folder in the printers file.

Please help people, I fear for my sanity, not least my commission!!

regards
Mike Usiskin
