Careful anyone out there who needs an updated driver for a 1290..!!! Anyone on OS 9.2 that is.
I downloaded from the Epson site (UK) and everything was ok until my chooser and driver mysteriously ended up in DUTCH! And, yes, before anyone asks.. it was previously in English on the site. After a call to Epson - they admitted that they were having difficulties (what's new) and to go to Epson Australia for the driver, which I did and resolved it. Alas it has made my chooser a permanent DUTCH chooser! Having got to the point where I can't now print B+W at all.. I am resigned to lust after the 4000 Epson and every time I go into Danny Chau's place I am reminded how inefficient the 1290 can be if not set up perfectly. Sigh....!
