I use it daily on OS-X systems. The only crash I can recall in months is when I was trying to view images on the camera LCD while at the same time having Camera Manager download and delete the images... probably not a wise move. In routine tethered shooting and editing I've had no problems at all. What sort of issues are you experiencing? I run it on a G4 tower, G4 laptop and previously a G3 laptop.... various flavors of OS-X through 10.3.1. I certainly desire other features on the Kodak software, but better stability hasn't been on the wish list as its never been a problem on my systems. Thanks Bob, that is useful to know.
Unfortunately I get/had lots of crashes. The firewire connectivity between my computers and (OSX 10.2.8) and (10.3 laptop) and my camera is/was poor to awful. It frequently crashes/crashed the otherwise rock solid system when tethered. The (in camera) main board? has been replaced twice now and the firewire board? once. It will be interesting to see if the new main board solves the firewire issues, the last one didn't (latest replaced Friday).
I am happy to believe I am maligning the wrong bit of Kodak, the software may be fine, my personal camera may not be. It is rather difficult to tell in isolation, Kodak do not have a problem with firewire connectivity (just communication in general) and do not seem to be unduly interested that I have.
