Main difference between E6 chrome and C41 neg is that with neg the
highlights progressively compress with overexposure.....meaning that it is
possible to extract a 14 stop range from a neg with a d-Max of 3.0. Try
whacking col neg with 5 extra stops of exposure in harsh sunshine and see
how soft the result is with a bit of extra savvy in the scanning.
