Morning everybody! I have the following problem: when I scan with vuescan and my Minolta Elite 5400 I still don't get anywhere near the accurate colors and have to set the correct white and black points in PS. I used Fuji 160 NPS and set the scanner software accordingly and scanned in 48bit. What am I missing- Ed's software is known for getting the colors accurately. I also assime that the infrared filter is the equivalent to ice in the minolta scanner software. I am not sure what the advantages are to use Ed's software compared to the minolta one? Apart from that you can use PS while you are scanning and you can't with the minolta software. Please help! Many thanks Stefanie Kappel ARPS Photography & Digital Imaging
