Dear List,

My 1290 using Lyson Fotonic inks, has suddenly started churning out prints
that look as though they have been printed with a very course screen -
pebble dash effect also very feint banding. The screened look is most
noticeable on single tone areas (background/skin tones).

I've already tried nozzle checks(look fine) about six head cleans and
re-alignment including changing cartridges all to no effect.

I've never had this one before and am feeling rather stumped as I have to
get on with some urgent printing - always the way!

Any suggestions most gratefully received.

Mike Daines.
