That's curious. I've not had much of a problem. You do have "stuffit expander" (a free utility from Aladdin) installed, don't you? If you don't, then I could see while you have had problems. However that's more a fault of the person sending you the file in that they should have educated you and given you the information on how to to this.

Rarely have I been chastised for including too much information on how to download a file and decompress it. I've learned to assume nothing on the part of the user (except to keep it short or else they won't read it all).
