This morning I download the sample they have sent me via e mail. Once uncompressed it is 40mb CMYK. Given the old adage that resistance is futile I have just burnt the original 30mb RGB file to CD so that once they receive it they can convert it back to the 40mb CMYK file they have just sent me.

This sort of professional stupidity and ignorance makes me very cross because they will be charging their client for this utter nonsense. These are just the sort of folk who are the first to blame the photographer when things go wrong with a print job too!
This is why we as photographers must be whiter than white with all aspects of our digital delivery when dealing with design agencies, ad agencies and printers or supplying direct to clients who are going to take our images on further.
