A client of mine is considering bringing their scanning more in-house and buying a decent scanner.
They will mostly be scanning negs up to about 6x7 format, also transparencies up to about 6x7 format. Being able to scan flat artwork would be a good bonus.
The scans will be used for brochures, press ads and anything up to adshell posters.
The scanner must be able to be fully calibrated and fit in to a colour-managed flow.
What should they buy with a budget of 10,000 UKP ? It would have to be new, not used.
I'm thinking Flextite (?) but I'm not up on scanners...
